I noticed that when I use the ADD User, I get User Group and Download Group dropdown boxes to easily select which group to add this new user to.
Can I have those same options on the Validate User screen? It would make it much easier to get the user into the correct group.
That's an interesting question that I hadn't thought of previously, for whatever reason. I imagine it can be done, but it wouldn't be a quick fix. The reason being the Validate page is set up to handle multiple items (look at the HTML source code and you'll see the numbering necessary on all form fields to keep records separate), so the same conditions would have to be met for adding the group boxes and processing them at the receiving end.
It's actually a very good idea, and as I start thinking it through, solves another problem I've been looking to find a solution for. I'll need to do some testing before I can give it a definitive 'yes,' but it's at the top of my to-do list.
I've got this just about finished now. It's working on the Add and Edit pages (not yet tested on Edit multiple), and should be good to go for Validate. I expected it to be complex, but it's turned out to be a bit more difficult than expected. Should be a nice addition, though.
I'm hoping to have v2.00.3 released shortly with a handful of bug fixes from v2.00.2, so this addition will get included in that release.
