Hi,
I have installed My Calendar succesfully in a web server with Apache and MySql.
Now I have to do it in another web server who has Windows 2003 and IIS 6.0. There I have the version 5.2.4 of PHP.
Then when I tried to open the web page of the calendar I received the error: HTTP 500 - Internal server error, I changed the show friendly error of internet explorer to off in order to see the description of the error and I only see a blank page.
I think there is an error when I install My Calendar with IIS.
However other web pages in this server do work and the database is ok, because I connect to the database from the calendar in other computer and It works.
What am I missing?
thanks a lot.
Daniel.

Unfortunately, I couldn't even begin to guess at what the problem is. Do you have access to your server's error logs? That's usually the best way to determine where an error is coming from.

Also, have you made the $this fix in lib.php for PHP5?

Cheers,
Dan

Hi, Dan.
I did not do neither the error logs nor the fix in the lib.php

How can I see the log of IIS?

How can I fix the lib.php? I didn't know that.

thanks in advance
Daniel.

See the Sticky thread at the top of the forum.

As for your server's error logs, you'll need to consult your host to see about access. I have no way of knowing what your setup is.

Cheers,
Dan

Hi, Dan
I read the post you told me and I did not find the fix in the lib.php.
Do I have to change my php version to a previous one?
I was looking to the iis error log and iis is not writing logs for the error # 500.

What should I do?

thanks,
Daniel.

You didn't find the fix or you didn't find the correct spot in the file?

That shouldn't be necessary. PHP5 will work, with a minor tweak. More likely is the server setting and some unforseen error, such as a path setting.

That's just your generic internal server error code. You need to see the actual script error logs to be able to troubleshoot anything. Are you administering the server yourself or hosting with someone else?

Dan

Hi, Dan

I didn't find in the post the fix to correct the php file with version 5.

Reading the post you told me, I realized that it will be really better if I had version 4 of php running on the server, so I uninstalled version 5 and installed version 4.4.7 and now It works!

Thank you very much for your help.

I never knew what the error 500 was and the network administrator and I were looking for the IIS error logs but we did not find anything, the files we saw were not registering the error 500 of the web pages.

thank you and bye,
Daniel.

Is it a new installation issue, or did something change to prevent an old install from working? What is the database issue? Is data corrupted or can you not connect?

Cheers,
Dan
